I had a wonderful stay at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown, thanks to its fantastic location and excellent service. The convenience of being able to walk to nearby attractions like Driskill and 6th Street for food and drinks was a huge plus. While my room was clean and well-maintained, I encountered a couple of minor issues like the lack of USB ports and some quirks with the bathroom design. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Austin.

Rooms
8.0
My room was clean and pretty, but the bathroom had a peculiar design that made it tricky to maneuver without bumping into things. It was also missing USB ports which would have been helpful.
Service

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Ja’Juan at the concierge gave me excellent suggestions for dining and entertainment, which made my stay even better.
Location

The location was perfect for exploring downtown Austin. I loved being just a short walk away from restaurants, bars, and live music venues, making my experience in the city all the more enjoyable.
Dining

While I didn't eat much at the hotel, I found plenty of excellent dining options within walking distance. However, my breakfast experience at Capital A wasn't great, with service lacking at times.
Facilities

The overall facilities were impressive, with a beautiful lobby and a nice rooftop pool area for relaxation. The valet service was convenient, although it felt a bit pricey.

6.6/10

My stay at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown had its ups and downs. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable amenities. However, I found myself waiting a bit too long for requests and the pool was closed during my visit, which was disappointing. Overall, while the location was ideal for exploring Austin, the service could use some improvement.

Rooms
8.0
My deluxe king room was clean and well-maintained. I appreciated the spaciousness and the comfortable accommodations, though I did wish for a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom could use some updates as it felt a bit outdated.
Service
6.0
The frontline staff were generally pleasant, but my experience with room service and requests was less than ideal. I called for extra pillows late at night and it took longer than expected to receive them, which impacted my comfort.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was really good, just a short walk from local nightlife and dining. I really enjoyed being in the heart of downtown Austin and close to attractions, making it easy to explore the city.
Dining
6.0
We didn't dine much at the hotel as there were many affordable options nearby. However, the breakfast experience at Capital A was a bit disappointing, as my order was overlooked despite the restaurant not being busy.
Facilities
7.0
While the rooftop pool area seemed appealing, it was closed during my stay. I did enjoy the efficient valet service, although the parking fees were on the higher side.

I had a fantastic stay at Omni Austin Hotel Downtown for my anniversary, where the staff went above and beyond to make me feel special (they left a lovely note in my room!). The location was perfect for exploring the city, but the noise level was concerning, especially from the street outside. Overall, a great experience with some room for improvement regarding the soundproofing.

Rooms
8.0
My room was comfortable and well-maintained, and I enjoyed the beautiful views of the city (the balcony was a nice touch!). However, I did find the layout a bit dated and less user-friendly than I had hoped.
Service
10.0
The service was really good, with staff members like Amanda and Matt providing excellent help during my stay (I felt very well taken care of!). They were quick to address my requests and made me feel welcome every time I interacted with them.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location was ideal, allowing me easy access to Austin's nightlife and restaurants within walking distance (I loved being just a quick stroll from the action!). However, the noise from the surrounding area was a drawback, especially at night.
Dining
8.0
Although I didn't eat at the hotel due to the array of dining options nearby, I did hear that the restaurant had good quality food and attentive service (I was tempted to try the menu!). The convenience of nearby eateries was a big plus for me.
Facilities
8.0
The rooftop pool area offered amazing views, which I really enjoyed (perfect for relaxing!). However, it did get crowded at times, which took away from the experience. The valet service was efficient, making my stay seamless.

7.0/10

The Omni Austin Hotel Downtown had a stunning lobby and a prime location for enjoying Austin's vibrant nightlife. However, the room left much to be desired, feeling outdated and uncomfortable. While staff were friendly and attentive, the overpriced amenities and other inconveniences detracted from the overall experience, leaving me disappointed during my stay.

Rooms
5.0
I found my room spacious and clean, but it felt like a blast from the past, with outdated furnishings that didn't meet my expectations. Several issues like a dirty shower and a nearly non-functioning toilet made it hard to feel comfortable.
Service
5.0
The staff at the hotel were consistently friendly and eager to help, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the breakfast service was a bit lacking, as my waitress seemed overwhelmed and neglected my beverage requests.
Location
5.0
The location was perfect for exploring the nightlife and attractions of downtown Austin. It was great to be within walking distance of popular spots, making it easy to enjoy the city.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were convenient, but I found the prices for room service and on-site meals to be quite steep. I could easily whip up the same breakfast at home for a fraction of the cost.
Facilities
5.0
The rooftop pool area was nice for relaxation, although overcrowded at times and not much shaded space. The fact that there weren't bathrooms at the pool was a downside, requiring a trek down stairs to find facilities.

6.4/10

I had a pleasant stay at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown, as the location was ideal for exploring nearby bars and restaurants. The room was clean and well-decorated, but I felt the service lacked a personal touch, especially during late-night requests. The rooftop pool was a beautiful spot to unwind, though I wished it had been open for longer hours.

Rooms
8.0
I was pleased with the cleanliness and overall decor of my room, though it did feel a bit dated. The bathroom was spacious with a large walk-in shower, which I appreciated.
Service
6.0
The front desk staff was friendly, but I encountered some delays when requesting items like extra pillows. This aspect could have been improved to enhance the overall experience.
Location
9.0
Being within walking distance to 6th Street and many dining options was a major plus. It made my stay very convenient for experiencing the nightlife in Austin.
Dining
7.0
I didn't dine much at the hotel due to higher prices, but I did enjoy the complimentary coffee in my room. Nearby restaurants offered more affordable options.
Facilities
7.0
Although the rooftop pool area was lovely, I did find that some facilities, like the gym, were undergoing renovations. This didn't detract significantly from my stay, but it was noted.
